Truist Financial Appoints Brad Bender as Chief Risk Officer

05:13 PM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Truist Financial ( TFC ) said late Wednesday it appointed Brad Bender as chief risk officer of the bank.

Bender succeeds Clarke R. Starnes, who is retiring after 42 years at Truist. Starnes will collaborate closely with Bender in the upcoming months in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition, according to the company.

Truist said that Bender was most recently working as interim chief information officer.
