08:56 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Truist Financial ( TFC ) said Thursday that it has partnered with Plaid to expand secure open banking, giving consumer and small business clients greater control over their financial data, streamlining digital banking, and enhancing security.

Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.

Truist said the partnership uses Truist and Plaid's networks to offer increased financial control and insights, a streamlined login, and secure control over data connections via an FDX-aligned API.
