Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected normalized earnings of $0.80.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $4.87 billion, down from $5.34 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $5.70 billion.
