WASHINGTON, March 26 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump

said on Wednesday he plans to announce tariffs on imported autos

during an event later in the day.

"We're going to go with the tariffs on cars," Trump said

ahead of the formal announcement in the Oval Office later on

Wednesday.
