02:40 PM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) shares were down more than 7% in recent trading Tuesday, hitting an all-time low at one point since it went public in March, according to multiple media reports.

Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) shares fell as a lock up period that prevents former US President Donald Trump from selling his stock in the company is due to expire.

According to CNBC, the lockup agreement is set to expire on Sept. 25, but could be expedited to Sept. 20 if the company's stock price consistently remains above $12 per share for a set period of time.

Trading volume stood at 4.8 million shares against the daily average of 7.7 million shares.
