Trump Media & Technology Shares Rise in Nasdaq Trading Debut

09:49 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Trump Media & Technology (DJT) was up more than 44% in recent Tuesday trading as it debuted on the Nasdaq following its merger with blank-check company Digital World Acquisition ( DWAC ).

The operator of social media platform, Truth Social, had said earlier that the ticker symbol would switch from DWAC for its common shares at market open, adding that the ticker pays homage to former President Donald J. Trump.
