07:38 PM EDT, 05/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Trump Mobile has started shipping its $499 T1 smartphones to customers after multiple delays pushed the launch from August to this week, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

The company said pre-ordered phones are beginning to arrive and remaining orders are expected to be fulfilled over the next several weeks.

Trump Mobile CEO Pat O'Brien said the delay was due to development and testing to ensure component quality standards were met.

The Trump-branded mobile venture operates as a mobile virtual network operator offering wireless plans priced at $47.45 per month.
