WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he has American buyers lined up for TikTok and that he could further extend the deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the app's U.S. assets, adding that he did not have privacy or security concerns.

Trump, speaking to reporters, said he had not talked to Chinese President Xi Jinping about the short video app yet but would at the right time.
