Nov 2 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on
Sunday the United States doesn't give Nvidia's ( NVDA ) advanced
AI chip, known as the Blackwell, "to other people," adding that
he meets with Nvidia ( NVDA ) CEO Jensen Huang regularly.
"The new Blackwell that just came out, it's 10 years ahead
of every other chip," Trump told reporters, adding, "But no, we
don't give that chip to other people."
The comments, in response to reporters' questions aboard Air
Force One, suggest the Trump administration may not be poised to
freely allow shipments of the prized chip overseas.
