08:28 AM EDT, 04/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- President Donald Trump said Tuesday on Truth Social that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again," ahead of the deadline he set for a deal with Iran.

"I don't want that to happen, but it probably will," Trump added.
