The companies are collaborating to detect common health risks and enhance disease management through education, product extensions, promotions, and peer-reviewed publications supporting pet healthcare, according to a joint statement.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Shares of Trupanion ( TRUP ) were up 4.8% in recent trading.
