04:25 AM EST, 11/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TTEC ( TTEC ) said Tuesday it plans to expand its Cairo operations by adding 3,500 employees by 2029 to support growing global demand, following the 2025 Global Offshoring Summit in Cairo.

The company said its President John Abou took part in a Presidential Roundtable with global industry leaders, met with Egypt's Prime Minister and Minister of ICT, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency to support the expansion.

TTEC's ( TTEC ) Cairo site would help support its ability to deliver integrated omnichannel customer support-including voice, chat, social media, messaging, analytics, and back-office services, the company said.

The expansion is expected to create thousands of jobs across support, operations, technology, data analysis, and quality assurance, supported by training in AI tools, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and multilingual engagement, it added.
