Turkey's BOTAS signs 1.2 bcm LNG deal with Cheniere, minister says

ISTANBUL (Reuters) -Turkish state energy company BOTAS signed a 1.2-billion-cubic-metre liquefied natural gas (LNG) purchase agreement with Cheniere, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said on Wednesday.

In a post on social media, Bayraktar said that this collaboration will increase portfolio diversity of Turkey's LNG strategy and contribute to the development of new business models.

Separately, Bayraktar also said BOTAS signed a two-year 600-million cubic metre LNG supply agreement with Hartree.
