Turkey's Erdogan: cooperation from social media companies insufficient

ANKARA, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Turkey has not received the

desired level of cooperation from social media companies despite

previous talks, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday after

the country blocked access to the social media platform

Instagram last week.

Erdogan was speaking in Ankara at an event concerning human

rights education as Turkish officials held fresh talks with

Instagram representatives about the block.
