05:00 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said late Wednesday its unit Black Construction, in a joint venture with Tutor Perini ( TPC ), won a $74.4 million contract to build a Child Development Center at Guam's Andersen Air Force Base.

The contract was awarded by the US Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific District, Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said.

Substantial completion of the project is slated for the summer of 2026, Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said, adding the contract value will be included in its backlog starting in Q2 2024.

Shares of the company fell 3% in after-hours trading.
