05:51 PM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said late Monday it received a $1.87 billion contract from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's Board of Commissioners to build a staging and storage facility as well as ramp structure components for the Midtown Bus Terminal Redevelopment Program in New York City.
Under the agreement, Tutor Perini ( TPC ) will oversee the construction of a seven-floor steel-clad storage and staging facility to accommodate up to 350 buses, according to a statement.
The project also involves the construction of a ramp structure for buses to move into and out of the above-grade bus levels of the facility, the company said.
The project is expected to commence in the fall of 2025 and be completed in 2028, it added.
