03:07 PM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said Thursday that its unit, Lunda Construction, was awarded an about $53.6 million project by the City of St. Paul, Minnesota, for the Kellogg/3rd Street Bridge Replacement Project.

The project includes construction of a new bridge with 13 spans totaling over 2,100 feet in length that will have four lanes of traffic and a barrier-separated trail on both sides of the roadway, the company said.

Work is expected to begin in Q3, with substantial completion anticipated in the fall of 2027, the company said, adding that the contract will be added to its Q2 backlog.
