03:58 PM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said Thursday that its Five Star Electric unit received a subcontract from AECOM's ( ACM ) AECOM Hunt to provide lighting, lighting controls and associated electrical branch wiring for the new JFK Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

The work on the two-phased subcontract will begin immediately and substantial completion of the first phase is expected in Q1 2026 and Q1 2028 for the second phase, the company said.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Shares of Tutor Perini ( TPC ) were up 1.3% during late trading.
