Tutor Perini Unit Secures $48.6 Million Alcatraz Island Rehabilitation Project

03:43 PM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) unit Perini Management Services was awarded a roughly $48.6 million contract by the National Park Service for the Alcatraz Island Historic Structures Stabilization and Rehabilitation Project.

The project will address the deterioration and structural deficiencies of the Alcatraz Main Prison Building in San Francisco Bay, the company said Tuesday.

The project is planned to start this month and is expected to be completed substantially by the summer of 2027. The contract value was added to the company's backlog in Q2.
