05:29 PM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tyson Foods ( TSN ) will end operations at its Joslin, Illinois, beef facility and its Eagle Mountain, Utah, case-ready facility as part of a restructuring of its beef business, the company said late Thursday.
The company is also pursuing the sale of its Pasco, Washington, beef facility, it said.
Tyson said it will anchor its beef operations around three facilities in Dakota City, Nebraska; Holcomb, Kansas; and Amarillo, Texas, and will ramp up a second shift at the Amarillo plant as cattle become available, citing persistent cattle supply constraints tied to limited heifer retention.
Tyson said it will support affected employees in applying for positions at other facilities.
