08:27 AM EDT, 09/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- U Power ( UCAR ) said Monday it entered into a $113,000 initial sales agreement with Peru-based motor taxi operator Treep Mobility Group.

Under the agreement, U Power ( UCAR ) said it will provide 50 two- and three-wheeled UNEX-branded vehicles to Treep Mobility for taxi services, and eight battery-swapping cabinets that will support the energy replenishment activities of its fleet.

U Power ( UCAR ) will also supply a corresponding number of swapping-compatible batteries to Treep Mobility to enable the daily operation of battery swapping cabinets, the company said.

The two firms plan to gradually expand the partnership through subsequent agreements for the purchase and deployment of additional vehicles in Peru, U Power ( UCAR ) said.

UCAR shares were about 1% higher in premarket activity.
