09:39 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) said Thursday it has signed a multiyear deal with autonomous vehicle startup Avride to integrate Avride's autonomous delivery robots and vehicles into Uber's ( UBER ) US services.

The collaboration will first introduce Avride's delivery robots to Uber Eats in Austin, expanding to Dallas and Jersey City, New Jersey, later in 2024, the ride-hailing service operator said, adding that autonomous ride options will launch in Dallas next year.
