10:53 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies' ( UBER ) Uber Eats unit said Tuesday it has started accepting Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefits Transfer payments.

Uber Eats users will be able to order SNAP-eligible groceries from nearby Albertsons ( ACI ) , Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Duane Reade and Walgreens (WBA) outlets, with payment processing managed by Forage, the company said.
