Uber Names Andrew Macdonald as COO

04:55 PM EDT, 06/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) appointed Andrew Macdonald as chief operating officer and president, effective immediately.

Macdonald, 41, joined in 2012 and held several leadership roles, including senior vice president, mobility and business operations, since 2019, Uber ( UBER ) said Monday in a regulatory filing.

In his new role, Macdonald will be in charge of Uber's ( UBER ) global mobility, delivery, and autonomous businesses, and cross-platform functions such as membership, customer support, safety, and others, the company said.

Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty left as senior vice president, delivery, the company said.
