Uber Partners With Turo to Provide Rental Cars

07:56 AM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) said Thursday it formed a multi-year partnership with Turo, a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace, allowing customers to use the Uber ( UBER ) app to rent Turo vehicles.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the deal, Turo's cars will be available on the Uber Rent platform beginning in early 2025 for customers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and France, Uber ( UBER ) said.

Coal India chairman Pramod Agrawal acknowledged that price revision is "inevitable" and this may happen soon. "We have spent Rs 7,000 crore capex so far and our Rs 17,000-crore target for the current fiscal is on track. We will invest around Rs 40,000-50,000 crore in the next 4-5 years, he said.
