10:13 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) announced a partnership with Mastercard ( MA ) and Payfare to offer the Uber Pro Card in Canada, providing free instant payouts after every trip or delivery and enhanced loyalty features for drivers and delivery staff.

With the special Mastercard ( MA ) business prepaid card, drivers and delivery staff can trace earnings, transfer funds, get rewards and manage savings on the Pro Card application, Uber ( UBER ) said Tuesday in a statement.

Qualified cardholders will also be entitled to a backup balance of up to $50, company said. The card will be offered through mobile wallets.

Financial terms of the collaboration weren't disclosed.

Shares of Uber ( UBER ) fell 2.2% in recent Tuesday trading, and Mastercard ( MA ) eased 0.2%.
