11:03 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) said Tuesday that Uber Yacht will be launched in Ibiza in August.

Vacationers can pre-book a private yacht using Uber Reserve in Ibiza starting on July 26 and a minimum of 24 hours in advance, the company said.

The water transport service will also be available in Venice, Italy, starting in July and later that month, Uber Boat in Greece will expand from Mykonos to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini, the company added.

People visiting Paris can hire an Uber Cruise, a free one-hour private tour down the river Seine, starting this summer, the company said.

Shares of Uber Technologies ( UBER ) were nearly 2.5% down in recent trading activity.
