Uber to Deploy Amazon's Zoox Robotaxis

08:41 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies ( UBER ) has signed a strategic partnership with Amazon's ( AMZN ) Zoox to deploy purpose-built Zoox robotaxis on its platform, the companies said Wednesday.

The companies said Zoox robotaxis will be available on the Uber ( UBER ) app in Las Vegas this summer and in Los Angeles by mid-2027.

Following the launch, Uber ( UBER ) customers can be matched with a Zoox robotaxi on eligible trips, the companies said.

Zoox will continue to operate its own app in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, in addition to offering Uber ( UBER ) rides, they added.

Uber ( UBER ) shares were up over 3% in premarket activity.
