Uber's 40% Mobility Gross Bookings 'Most Exposed' to Potential AV Risk, Wedbush Says
Jul 10, 2025 12:24 PM

02:49 PM EDT, 07/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies' ( UBER ) nearly 40% mobility gross bookings are "most exposed" to potential risk from autonomous vehicles, Wedbush said in a note on Thursday.

Wedbush said that while the near-term financial impact on established ridesharing platforms is limited, AVs are expected to "disrupt the current status quo" over time.

Since AVs are likely to be most disruptive in higher-density markets, the vehicles currently deployed in cities account for nearly 28% of Uber's ( UBER ) mobility segment, with an additional 12% of the company's business at risk, representing other high-density markets where AVs haven't reached, according to the note.

Wedbush maintained its neutral rating and a price target of $85 on Uber's ( UBER ) stock.
