UFP Industries Q1 Earnings, Net Sales Decline -- Shares Down After Hours

05:06 PM EDT, 04/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UFP Industries ( UFPI ) reported Q1 earnings late Monday of $1.30 per diluted share, down from $1.96 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.57.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 29 were $1.60 billion, down from $1.64 billion a year earlier.

The company said its board last week maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.35 per share, payable June 16 to shareholders of record as of June 2, and raised its share repurchase authorization to $300 million through July 31 from $200 million.

Shares of the company fell 3.4% in recent after-hours activity.
