09:37 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UGI's (UGI) International unit said Tuesday it has completed the sale of its liquefied petroleum gas distribution business in Italy to Italian energy firms Goldengas, SCG Gas, and Beyfin.

Financial terms were not provided.

The company said it sold its Italian LPG unit, UniverGas, as part of a strategy to focus on markets where it "can achieve superior operational results."

Proceeds from the transaction will be used to pay down debt at the parent company, the unit said.
