U-Haul to Open New Retail and Storage Center in Alabama

08:43 AM EDT, 07/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- U-Haul Holding ( UHAL ) said Tuesday it plans to build a retail, moving, and self-storage center in Athens, Alabama, to open in 2026.

The 5.3-acre site will feature a three-story center with 1,100 indoor self-storage units, over half of which will offer climate-control options, the company said.

Financial terms of the project were not disclosed.
