UK Competition Regulator Opens Probe on Thermo Fisher, Olink Merger

08:15 AM EDT, 05/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Competition and Markets Authority said Friday that it has opened a probe on Thermo Fisher Scientific's ( TMO ) $3.1 billion deal to acquire Swedish biotech firm Olink Holding ( OLK ) .

The CMA said its deadline for a phase 1 decision is on July 8.
