UltraTech Cement will be reporting its Q2 earnings tomorrow (October 21). On the topline, analysts are expected a growth of around 1.5 percent. Operating profit is expected to grow around 3 percent.

In terms of profitability, it is expected to be far better because of lower finance cost as well as high other income. In terms of volumes, consolidated volumes are expected to be close to around 3 percent higher.

Grey cement realisation for the quarter is expected to improve 1 percent year-on-year but expected to contract by around 4-6 percent sequentially.
