Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.20.

Revenue for the quarter that ended Sept. 30 was $406.1 million, up from $355.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $398.9 million.

The company said its board increased quarterly cash dividend by 2.6% to $0.40 per share, payable on Jan. 2 to shareholders of record on Dec. 10.
