UniFirst Confirms Rejection of Cintas' $275-a-Share Offer

11:20 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UniFirst ( UNF ) shares were up over 21% in recent Tuesday trading after the company said its board received and rejected Cintas' ( CTAS ) unsolicited and "highly conditional" offer to acquire all outstanding class B UniFirst shares for $275 per share.

UniFirst ( UNF ) said its board reviewed the proposal in the final months of 2024 and determined that the offer is not in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
