06:11 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Union Pacific ( UNP ) said Tuesday that its recovery efforts went "extremely well" after Hurricane Beryl hit parts of Texas and that all its impacted track segments, with the exception of the Galveston area, are back in service.

The company said it is still assessing the impact on its network and flagged possible service variability and some delays until all roadways are accessible and commercial power fully restored.
