July 25 (Reuters) - Union Pacific ( UNP ) reported a 7%
rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, helped by price hikes
implemented by the U.S. railroad operator.
The company's net income rose to $1.67 billion, or $2.74 per
share, in the quarter ended June 30, from $1.57 billion, or
$2.57 per share, a year earlier.
