02:41 PM EST, 01/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United Airlines Holdings ( UAL ) denied rumors that it is in negotiations or discussions with another airline regarding a merger, acquisition or similar transaction, according to a Friday regulatory filing.

The airline also said it has not been in any recent talks with any airlines "regarding the same."

A Bloomberg report said various social media posts claimed that the airline company was in talks with JetBlue Airways ( JBLU ) over a potential merger or to acquire some of JetBlue's ( JBLU ) assets.
