06:03 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A United Airlines (UAL) flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Washington D.C. is being investigated by the US National Transportation Safety Board, or NTSB, over a "sudden aircraft movement" that led to injuries.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the regulator said it is investigating the incident, which occurred while the airplane was flying in Cote d'Ivoire airspace.

NTSB said it will publish a report on its website in about 30 days.

United Airlines did not immediately reply to MTNewswires' request for comment.
