WASHINGTON, Aug 6 (Reuters) - United Airlines on

Wednesday said that it has suspended flights due to a tech

issue, and anticipates additional flight delays in the evening.

"Due to a technology issue, we are holding United mainline

flights at their departure airports," the airline said.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration earlier said it

issued a ground stop for United Airlines flights at several U.S.

airports.
