08:20 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United Homes Group ( UHG ) said Monday its preliminary Q1 net new orders totaled 296, down 23% from 384 a year earlier.

The decrease in net new orders was due to "unusual snow" in all three of the company's South Carolina markets, Interim Chief Executive Officer Jamie Pirrello said.

Q1 home starts fell 10% to 248 and home closings declined 19% to 252 compared with a year earlier, the company said.
