11:20 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United Natural Foods ( UNFI ) said Monday in a regulatory filing that the company became aware on June 5 of "unauthorized activity" on some of its information technology systems.

"The company promptly activated its incident response plan and implemented containment measures, including proactively taking certain systems offline, which has temporarily impacted the Company's ability to fulfill and distribute customer orders," according to the filing. "The incident has caused, and is expected to continue to cause, temporary disruptions to the company's business operations."

United Natural Foods ( UNFI ) shares fell 8.2% in recent trading Monday.
