05:39 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- United Parcel Service ( UPS ) said Monday it has entered into an agreement to acquire Estafeta, a Mexican express delivery company.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The acquisition builds on a 2020 commercial agreement between the companies and supports UPS' target to become a top small package and logistics provider globally, the company said.

The deal is expected to be completed by the end of the year, pending standard closing conditions and regulatory approvals, UPS said.
