06:47 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- United Parcel Service ( UPS ) said Wednesday that it opened a new $100 million logistics center in Taiwan, its largest in the Asia-Pacific region.

The facility, UPS Taoyuan International Logistics Center, is located close to the Taoyuan International Airport, providing smooth connectivity to the 22 flights UPS operates through the airport on a weekly basis, the company said.

The facility has more than 81,000 square meters of floorspace, along with a fleet of automated mobile robots and other features, the company said.

UPS said that Applied Materials ( AMAT ) uses the facility as its Asia continental distribution center.
