02:08 PM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- United Parcel Service ( UPS ) on Monday filed a preliminary prospectus for the sale of an unspecified amount of senior notes.
However, Bloomberg reported earlier, citing a person familiar with the matter, that the company is looking to sell senior notes in three tranches maturing in 10, 30, and 40 years.
The package delivery company may reportedly offer a yield of around 1.05 percentage point above Treasuries for the longest portion of the deal. Two CreditSights analysts estimate the offering could be priced at around $2.5 billion in total, Bloomberg said.
UPS did not immediately respond to a request for additional information from MT Newswires on the offering.
