02:13 PM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- United Parks & Resorts ( PRKS ) said Tuesday that Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida, will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday and Seaworld Orlando will be closed Wednesday and Thursday as Hurricane Milton approaches.

"Precautions are in place following the park's comprehensive weather preparedness plan to ensure the safety of our animals and ambassadors during this time," the company said in a statement.

Aquatica Orlando and Discovery Cove in Orland will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

All tickets for closed days were extended through Dec. 31, the company said.
