Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.49 billion, up from $3.29 billion a year earlier.

The company said it now expects 2024 revenue between $14.95 billion and $15.45 billion, compared with the previous guidance of between $14.65 billion and $15.15 billion.

United Rentals ( URI ) kept its quarterly dividend at $1.63 per share, payable on May 22 to shareholders of record on May 8.
