04:42 PM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United Rentals ( URI ) said late Monday its unit, United Rentals ( URI ) (North America), priced a private offering of $1.5 billion of 5.375% senior notes due 2033, and intends to redeem an outstanding $500 million of 5.5% senior notes due 2027.

The offering is expected to close on Dec. 1, while the redemption will take effect on Dec. 24, the company said.

Net proceeds of around $1.49 billion from the offering will be used to redeem the 5.5% senior notes due 2027, and for general corporate purposes, the company added.
