05:51 PM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UnitedHealth Group ( UNH ) established a new board-level Public Responsibility Committee to monitor financial, regulatory, and reputational risks and named F. William McNabb, a board member since 2018, as lead independent director.

The new committee will be chaired by Michele Hooper and will include Charles Baker, Timothy Flynn and Paul Garcia, the company said Wednesday in a regulatory filing.

McNabb, the former chairman and chief executive officer of the Vanguard Group, succeeds Hooper as the lead independent director.
